What you will do:
Payroll Processing:
- Accurately process employee salaries, commissions, bonuses, and deductions.
- Manage payroll deductions (taxes, benefits, garnishments, etc.).
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll disbursement via direct deposit or checks.
- Verify timekeeping data and resolve discrepancies.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
- File payroll tax returns and remittances on time.
- Conduct payroll audits to maintain accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare payroll reports for management and finance teams.
Compensation & Benefits Administration:
- Enroll new employees in benefit programs and update existing coverage.
- Track and calculate employee benefit contributions.
- Conduct market research to analyze salary trends and ensure competitive compensation.
- Assist in developing salary structures and pay adjustments.
- Employee Support & Vendor Coordination:
- Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve employee concerns.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams on payroll, benefits, and compliance matters.
- Manage relationships with payroll service providers and benefits vendors.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing and compensation analysis.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and labor compliance.
- Understanding of compensation structures and market salary analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
