FORTIS ENERGY RENEWABLE TRAINING LTD is seeking wind turbine technicians

We are wind turbine service provider with companies based in the UK and Italy (EU). We have exciting opportunities coming available for the right candidate. All extra training will be provided once selected.
To be selected for this role YOU MUST be able to work at heights of up to 150 meters, YOU MUST physically fit, YOU MUST be williing to be exposed to adverse weather conditions, YOU MUST be willing to work away for up to 3 months at a time, work onshore and offshore (this can require being on a vessel for 2/3 weeks on rotation).
You will work 6 days per week with one rest day, expect to work 12 hours per days.
The requirements, you must have one the qualifications/experience below:
- Mechanical work
- Qualified Electricians
- High Voltage Engineers
- Composite (Fibre Glass) technicians
- Welders
In return, you will gain full GWO certification to allow to work in wind te industry, all flights and accommodations will be paid for by the company, additional daily allowances for food.
Pay scale will start from €150 euro per day depending on qualifications and expertise.
Successful candidates will undergo further training at a Global Wind Organisation training centre to gain all certification required. This training will take around 2 weeks to complete, once completed you will be required on site to assist erecting wind turbines/ loading vessels preparing to go offshore.
