About the Company: An experienced team, that operates in the energy and construction sectors for more than 10 years, with a strong focus on Georgian market, started as Cross-Country Georgia, and has invested/constructed within the last 7 years four HPP projects (total 23MW) from scratch and further has executed several high-profile projects – airport terminal, multi-floor hotel, overhead lines, office spaces and insulated façade systems.
Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Office Manager to join our team for a major logistics center construction project. The successful candidate will play a critical role in project planning, budgeting, and cost management, ensuring efficient resource allocation and adherence to financial constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, monitor, and update project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
- Prepare and manage project budgets by analyzing cost estimates and controlling expenditures.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and other stakeholders to align resources and timelines with budgetary goals.
- Track project costs and conduct regular financial reporting to highlight variances and forecast future expenditures.
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents, including bill of quantities and technical specifications, focusing on cost implications.
- Analyze project scope changes and recommend budget adjustments, ensuring proper documentation throughout the process.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks in project execution.
- Participate in project meetings, providing insights on financial performance and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company standards related to cost management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in project planning and cost management within the construction industry, preferably related to logistics centers and prefabricated buildings.
- Strong understanding of construction cost estimation processes and methodologies.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent) and financial management tools.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills for budget forecasting and cost analysis.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to negotiate and present complex information clearly.
- Detail-oriented and adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
