Avlabari Novotel Hotel announces a vacancy for the position Groups & Event Sales Manager
Main responsibilities:
- Responsible for preparing all groups & event documentation and coordinates with property departments and customers to ensure consistent, excellent service throughout pre-event, event, and post-event phases of property events.
- Evaluating group inquiries and sending proposals.
- Manages group room blocks and meeting spaces.
- Coordinate with Reservation agent each booking.
- Conduct site inspection professionally to all guests following the brand standards.
- Implement and execute all sales objectives and action plans to reach and exceed targets set.
- Create, distribute, and implement BEO's for all departments.
- Ensure billing accuracy and conduct bill reviews with the clients prior to processing the final bill.
- Be the contact between the client and the hotel staff.
- To be part of special activities, such as guest cocktails, welcome dinner for groups, etc.
- Stays available to solve problems and/or suggest alternatives to previous arrangements.
- Make sure that all the requests should be answered in 24 hours.
- To present a weekly sales activity report during the weekly sales meetings highlighting new accounts, new requests, new leads etc.
- Attends and contributes to all training sessions and meetings as required.
Requirements and skills:
- Previous experience of minimum 2 years
- English written and spoken. Additional language is a plus.
- Strong in driving results and good negotiation techniques
- Excellent organizational skills and flexibility.
- Positive attitude and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent MS Office skills
