Pulse Point LLC is looking for Cash Audit Team Lead

Location: Tbilisi
Employment Type: Full-time with 2 days off a week, not fixed. 
Work Mode: On-Site

Position Summary: The Cash Audit Team Lead is responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of bank reconciliations of the bank accounts used in daily operations. This role involves monitoring the status of bank accounts, overseeing the reconciliation process performed by audit officers, and ensuring compliance with internal controls. The Cash Audit Team Lead provides quality assurance by double-checking completed reconciliations, guiding the audit team, and resolving discrepancies. In cases of increased workload or staffing shortages, the leader may also perform reconciliations directly. The position also requires active collaboration with both the audit team and operations team to address and raise any discrepancies or issues. Strong communication, leadership, and a commitment to process improvements are essential to maintaining operational accuracy and ensuring that issues are promptly identified and resolved.

What you will do:
  • Monitor Bank Account Status: Track and monitor bank accounts used in operations, including the calculation of estimated balances.
  • Review and Ensure Accuracy of Bank Reconciliations: Oversee and double-check the bank reconciliations prepared by audit officers.
  • Prepare Monthly Reconciliation Templates: Maintain monthly bank reconciliation templates.
  • Perform Reconciliations as Needed: In situations where there is a shortage of officers or increased workload, take on the responsibility of performing bank reconciliations to ensure timely completion.
  • Support and Guide the Audit Team: Provide leadership and guidance to audit officers and ensuring adherence to reconciliation procedures and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Operations Team: Work closely with operations team to address reconciliation issues, implement corrective actions, and ensure alignment.
  • Handle Queries: Respond to queries from operations’ team
  • Effective Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong communication and collaboration across teams to ensure seamless workflows, timely issue resolution, and alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s/College Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a banking, finance, or payment processing role, preferably in an online gaming or e-commerce environment is a plus.
  • Experience in leadership and team management skills.
  • Highly proficient in computer applications especially MS Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated, flexible and has the ability to assume expanded responsibilities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and with high commitment to schedule and deadline.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good level of English language knowledge.
