Role: Accounting Officer
Location: Tbilisi
Employment Type: Full-time with 2 days off a week, not fixed.
Work Mode: On-Site
Position Summary: The Accounting Officer is responsible for recording and reporting the bank and member transactions, reconciling accounts to maintain accurate financial records. This role requires strong attention to detail, good analytical skills and the ability to communicate/escalate any discrepancies to related team.
What you will do:
- Recording Bank and Member Transactions: Creating and posting Journal Entries for bank and Member Transactions to SAP (accounting software).
- Maintaining and Reconciliation of Reports: Rechecking bank and member balance every after posting of entries and comparing it to the Ledger.
- Posting of correcting and adjusting entries: Any discrepancies between General Ledger and Bank Recon will be adjusted accordingly.
- Accuracy and Completeness of Reports: To ensure that entries are posted correctly in their designated GL, monthly reconciliation of General ledger, Bank Deposit/Withdrawals and Member Deposit and Withdrawals are done accordingly.
- Monthly Reports: Participate in monthly closing activities and preparing monthly reports.
- Ad hoc Reports: as per internal or external regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/ College Degree preferably Business Courses with Accounting knowledge.
- Proficient in computer applications, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
- Ability to work well in minimum supervision and flexible to accept additional responsibilities.
- Committed to meeting deadlines.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good level of English language knowledge.
