REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of experience working as a Data Engineer:
• Proficiency in Python and SQL;
• Extensive experience with AWS products;
• Knowledge of Data pipeline and workflow management tools like Apache Airflow;
• Knowledge of DevOps processes, monitoring, tooling as well as application runtime environments with docker and Kubernetes;
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing data pipelines, ETL processes, and large-scale data processing solutions;
• Experienced with automated CI/CD Pipelines and software testing practices;
• Experience with Data Lake and Data Warehouse organization;
• Experience with Snowflake or/and Databricks;
• Knowledge of PySpark, HDFS;
• Upper-intermediate English.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Architecting and development of the organization's data infrastructure and pipelines;
• Establishing best practices, coding standards, and data governance policies in the team;
• Reviewing and approving technical designs and implementations;
• Providing technical mentorship to mid-level data engineers;
• Working closely with Data Scientists and Architects;
• Coordinating with DevOps teams on infrastructure requirements.
