About the Company
JSC Wind Power is a subsidiary company solely owned by PERI LLC. The company is implementing the largest wind power plant project in Georgia – 206 MW Ruisi WPP. The goal of the company is to sell electricity in the Georgian market.
JSC Wind Power is recruiting for Occupational health and safety specialist
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage safety programs and policies;
- Monitoring and reporting on compliance with the rules and requirements set by the EBRD;
- Ensure job sites and employees are in compliance with all new developments, regulations, and requirements for environmental, health, and safety regulations;
- Provide effective safety training to employees;
- Inspect and ensure job sites achieve safety goals;
- Develop and maintain emergency response and accident prevention plans;
- Writing reports and responding to inquiries and concerns
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field would be an asset;
- 3+ years proven professional experience as an Occupational health and safety specialist;
- State-recognized occupational safety specialist certificate;
- English is a must (since 50% of the work is performed in English - both written and oral);
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills;
- Office programs;
- Highly organized;
- Detail oriented;
- High sense of responsibility
Work location: Tbilisi/Project Site (located in Kareli and Gori)
Working hours: Monday – Friday, 10:00 – 19:00. 1 hour break
