Requirements
1. Education and Qualification
- University degree in a technical discipline is required, preferably, related to the Oil/Gas Industry
- Language Skills: Fluency either in Georgian and English or Georgian and Russian is essential
2. Work Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including 2 years in a leadership role.

Roles and Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Department Manager is responsible for ensuring the electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and technical integrity of processing and utility equipment. This includes coordinating and planning plant maintenance, managing contractor support, and overseeing the maintenance management system database.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the planning, coordination, and review of all maintenance department activities.
- Lead teams across Electrical, Mechanical, and Instrumentation disciplines.
- Participate in the preparation and implementation of company policies, strategies, and management procedures.
- Plan and control the Maintenance Department’s budget.
- Set annual goals for the department and monitor progress to ensure achievement.
- Maintain discipline within the department and monitor employee attendance, overtime, and vacation schedules.
- Prepare and submit quarterly and annual activity reports with recommendations for improvement.
- Oversee contractor control to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Maintain relationships with key contacts at both local and international levels.
- Ensure compliance with maintenance strategies and procedures during corrective and preventive maintenance.
- Manage the computerized maintenance management system for work orders related to corrective and preventive maintenance.
- Oversee emergency response planning and execution, ensuring plans are up to date and understood by staff.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts and ensure adherence to the Management of Change (MOC) process.
- Supervise multi-disciplinary technical leadership within the maintenance team and provide guidance during operational activities.
- Coordinate vendor support and manage contractor activities related to maintenance, ensuring safety, efficiency, and minimal equipment downtime.
- Develop and maintain long-term maintenance plans (12-18 months) for major overhauls and project work, extending these plans to 2-3 years.
- Monitor and manage employee training and ensure competence and qualification levels are maintained.
- Work closely with operations, engineering, and other departments to plan and execute maintenance activities. Ensure clear communication and collaboration to minimize operational downtime.
- Closely cooperate with HR Department to timely plan and provide Maintenance department employee vacation applications, sick leave papers, information on business trips, job releases, personal releases, overtime works, timely provide monthly timesheets, etc.
Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Responsibilities
- Ensure commitment to the Company’s HSE Policy for self, staff, and contractors.
- Promote safety awareness through regular meetings and presentations.
- Ensure adherence to Safety Operating Systems (SOS) and emergency response procedures.
- Participate in investigations into incidents, ensuring corrective actions are followed.
- Ensure maintenance staff are trained in emergency preparedness and response, with necessary equipment available.
Environmental Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations during maintenance operations.
- Contribute to setting and achieving annual environmental and safety objectives.
- Report non-conformances and ensure corrective actions from environmental audits are implemented.
Integrity Management
- Promote Integrity Management competence in line with company policies.
- Ensure compliance with the Permit to Work (PTW) system, Safety Operating Systems (SOS), and task-based risk assessments.
- Oversee the inspection, testing, and maintenance of protective systems and equipment.
- Ensure all maintenance procedures are followed, and equipment is safely returned to service after repairs
Remuneration and Additional Benefits:
- Monthly Remuneration (To be Defined individually, From 6400 GEL)
- Work schedule: Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (break time is not included in working hours), excluding weekends and public holidays;
