Talent Garden are seeking a Junior Financial Auditor with strong potential for growth for our client, a consulting firm serving German-speaking clients. The ideal candidate should have a desire to learn and evolve within the consulting industry, eventually transitioning into broader financial management roles. The primary responsibilities will focus on accounting, tax, and finance, with only minimal emphasis on auditing.
The team is made up of highly motivated professionals, including former Big 4 consultants (EY, KPMG, PWC, Deloitte) and ambitious university graduates. This role demands a high level of commitment and offers a steep learning curve, along with excellent career development opportunities.
Requirements
- German language skills (at least intermediate level), with a focus on written communication, as verbal skills are less critical.
- Excellent university degree in Accounting / Business Administration / Finance or similar
- Advanced accounting and finance know-how
- Previous work experience is a plus but not required
- Willingness to go the “extra mile”
- Is a plus: Command of English
- Is a plus: ACCA or similar qualification
Responsibilities
- Prepare and evaluate interim and annual financial statements
- Participation in monthly and year-end closing
- All sorts of accounting-related tasks and reviews for various clients
- Cooperation with external auditors
- Engage in tax issues
- Engage in coaching and online business development activities (depending on level of experience)
