Taylor Shipping Solutions LLC is looking for a dedicated Dispatcher to join our team! If you have excellent communication skills, are highly organized, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!
Industry: Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, and Storage
Employment Type: Full-time (07.00-16.00)
Location: Georgia (Remote)
Key Responsibilities:
- Driver Tracking: Monitor and track drivers' progress throughout their shifts to ensure timely deliveries.
- Problem Resolution: Respond promptly to issues such as delays, breakdowns, or route changes, keeping operations on track.
- Customer Updates: Inform customers of any delays or disruptions and provide updates as needed.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and logs.
- Coordination: Collaborate with drivers, customers, and the operations team to optimize routes and schedules.
Knowledge and Skills Needed:
- Strong understanding of freight and transportation logistics.
- Ability to use dispatching software and GPS tracking systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Outstanding communication abilities—both written and verbal.
- A proactive and detail-oriented mindset.
