Go Global Travel is looking for Sales Assistant

Department:Sales

Reportsto:Sales Manager / Regional Manager / VP of Sales


Job Description: Based in Georgia, your role will be to work with Georgian market. Main responsibility involves assisting Sales Manager with daily tasks – visiting partners to promote / sell Go Global Travel services and products, as well as answering to incoming calls and requests in line with our quality standards, procedures and guidelines in order to sell and promote reservations and products. Exceeding the customer’s service expectations while converting requests into reservations. This position involves daily communication with Sales Manager as well visiting existing and new partners all around Georgia. You must be willing / able to travel if requested, to visit Exhibitions / Sales Conferences, etc.


Main Duties:

  • Assist Sales Manager on various daily tasks
  • Do sales calls / Receive calls from parners.
  • Sales visits to existing and new partners.
  • Ability to address and resolve partner complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Be able to work as part of a team, to ensure that all partners receive a high quality service.
  • Follow company policies and procedures, including those related to sales, returns, and security.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience in Touroperator / Travel agent and/or Hotel Contracting, Hotel Management, Hotel Sales & Marketing would be a distinct advantage.
  • Good Georgian / English language is a MUST. 
  • Russian - good writing and speaking level is a strong advantage.
  • Insight into Tour operators and or Hotel operations, basic knowledge of revenue management.
  • Being able to work both in a team & independently when necessary Excellent organizational and negotiating skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
