We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fleet Operations Manager to oversee and optimize partner company’s fleet operations in Georgia. By effectively managing the fleet and liaising with Georgian agents, the Fleet Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the success of the company's operations in Georgia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the fleet, including vehicle assignments, routing, and scheduling.
- Monitor vehicle performance and identify areas for improvement, such as fuel efficiency and maintenance costs.
- Implement and maintain fleet management systems to track vehicle usage, maintenance records, and driver performance.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive vehicle maintenance program to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Schedule and oversee regular vehicle inspections, repairs, and servicing.
- Monitor maintenance costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Monitor driver performance, including adherence to safety regulations and driving behavior.
- Address driver issues and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with the HR Manager to ensure couriers meet their targets and handle work permit renewals and other legal requirements.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure efficient delivery and pickup schedules.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure fleet performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and reduce costs.
- Communicate effectively with agents to ensure smooth operations and address any issues.
- Prepare and submit weekly reports to the Country Manager and Managing Director, detailing vehicle status, courier assignments, and any relevant operational updates.
- Collaborate with the HR Manager to provide comprehensive reports on salaries, deductions, and other HR-related matters.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in fleet or operations management;
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
- Proficiency in fleet management software and tools.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English and Georgian.
