Position: Foreign Procurement Manager
Position Location: Tbilisi, Georgia.
Position Summary and Structure
A leading Procurement and Logistic company Cartu Logistics LLC is actively seeking for the Procurement Manager to source equipment, goods and services and perform strategic procurement activities across multiple projects and search for better deals.
This position will report to the Head of Procurement Department and other company leaders with particular emphasis on procurement and logistics related issues.
Key Performance Objectives
- Develop, lead and execute procurement strategies;
- Perform cost analysis;
- Seek/Source and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers;
- Determine quantity and timing of deliveries;
- Contact suppliers to schedule deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems;
- Review requisition orders to verify accuracy, terminology, and specifications;
- Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files, reports and price lists; to ensure clear requirements documentation
- Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates to determine the best bid among potential suppliers;
- Calculate costs of orders and prepare required reports;
- Compare suppliers' bills with bids and purchase orders to verify accuracy;
- Collaborate with the lawyers on drafting purchase contracts, conduct negotiations with the suppliers and monitor contract execution;
- Track the status of contracts and orders;
- Monitor contractor performance, recommending contract modifications when necessary.
The Ideal Candidate Should Have
- 2 years working experience in commercial field, international procurement or sales;
- Proven minimum 2 years working experience in a procurement manager role;
- Familiarity with sourcing management;
- A knack for negotiation and networking;
- Ability to gather and analyze data and to work with figures;
- Solid judgement with ability to make good decisions;
- Fluency in English and Russian is required (multilingual ability would be an asset).
