Spribe Georgia LLC, a subsidiary of SPRIBE, is growing and we're looking for a dedicated IT Monitoring Engineer to join our team. You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure by providing exceptional monitoring and support. Requirements:
- Willingness to work in shifts to provide 24/7 monitoring coverage.
- Ability to analyze data from various sources and monitoring tools to detect trends, anomalies, and potential issues.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- A passion for staying updated with the latest IT monitoring tools, technologies, and best practices.
- Ability to create and maintain documentation (in English) related to monitoring, incidents, and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the entire IT infrastructure, including but not limited to servers, networks, databases, and applications.
- Perform brief analyses of alert causes, initiate troubleshooting, and identify potential issues.
- Communicate issues clearly and promptly to relevant personnel and provide detailed information regarding alarms or problems.
- Collaborate with the IT team, Incident Manager, and Problem Manager to develop alert escalation and incident response procedures.
- Detect and report false positives and continuously optimize alert accuracy.
- Assist in capacity planning and resource optimization efforts.
- Contribute to automation initiatives.
- Track and document incidents for further analysis and reporting.
- Continuously learn and stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in IT monitoring.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with monitoring platforms such as Zabbix or Grafana.
- Experience with Linux-based systems.
- Strong understanding of IT environments and systems.
