Overview: The Purchasing Manager is responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services for the hotel, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness while maintaining compliance with company policies. This role involves vendor negotiation, budget management, and collaboration with various departments. 

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Maintain accurate records of goods ordered and received. 
  • Identify and negotiate with vendors to secure the best prices and quality for supplies. 
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions for equipment and supplies. 
  • Monitor delivery status and address any issues with non-delivered items. 
  • Control the purchasing department budget and prepare claims and contracts. 
  • Analyze market conditions to assess material availability and pricing trends. 
  • Develop purchasing policies and maintain an organized filing system for procurement documents. 
  • Act as the primary contact between the purchasing department and other teams. 
  • Prepare reports and statistical analyses for management. 

Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field. 
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry. 
  • Fluency in English language. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and inventory management systems. 

Personal Qualities: 
  • High integrity and emotional maturity. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment. 
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills. 
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
