As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as the Head of the Communications Department.
Role Overview:
As the Head of the Communications Department, you will lead and manage a team that serves as the primary point of contact for guests and coordinates with other departments, including Housekeeping and Logistics. Your role is crucial in ensuring high-quality communication with guests and internal teams, enhancing guest satisfaction, and overseeing reservations across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Oversee and manage the guest communication team, ensuring high-quality service and timely responses to guest inquiries and issues.
- Train, mentor, and support team members in customer service best practices and company policies.
- Monitor team performance, providing feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
Guest Relations:
- Ensure the quality of communication with guests, addressing any issues that arise.
- Manage responses to guest reviews on Airbnb and other platforms as needed.
- Handle support messages, cancellations, refunds, reimbursements, and booking modifications.
Reservations Management:
- Oversee reservations across various platforms such as Airbnb and Booking.com.
- Manage and update information within our in-house platform, “Monday.”
- Handle payment processing for all incoming reservations on Booking.com.
Cross-Department Coordination:
- Collaborate with Housekeeping, Logistics, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Coordinate effectively to resolve guest issues promptly and efficiently.
Requirements:
Experience:
- Proven experience in customer service or guest relations, preferably in the hospitality or property management sector.
- Previous leadership experience with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle complex situations.
- Ability to manage stressful situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Proactive and detail-oriented with a focus on enhancing guest satisfaction.
Language Proficiency:
- Fluent in Georgian, English, and Russian, both written and spoken.
