YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE: 
  • Good interpersonal skills and self-confident 
  • Working experience in restaurant/conference/banquet service for at least three years 
  • Experience in staff management for at least two years 
  • Organization and creativity skills 
  • Teaching and training skills 
  • Fluent English 
  • Advanced knowledge of PC 
  • Rules and standards of restaurant service 
  • MICROS-Symphony 
  • Guest oriented and service minded, with attention to quality 
  • Good sales skills 
  • A thorough and organized approach ability to work under pressure. 
  • Ability to work in a team (be team player). 
 
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: 
  • Supervises and coordinates all service processes in the restaurant & conferences & banqueting  
  • Ensure that all tasks relating to guest comfort, guest satisfaction or the impression the guest receives of the Hotel must be treated with utmost priority. 
  • Maximizes food and beverage sales by identifying and targeting sales opportunities by training staff on “up-selling; attracts outside customers, creates promotions, works with food bloggers 
  • M aintains guest satisfaction by handing inquiries, concerns or comments and providing solutions; 
  • Be aware of guests' needs at all times, to make available knowledge and resources to meet those requirements. 
 
Specific Duties: 
  • Supervises and coordinates all service processes in the restaurant & conferences & banqueting 
  • Prepares the schedule for all F&B attached departments (except kitchen) 
  • Ensures restaurant, conference and BQ equipment is maintained and utilized correctly 
  • Is physically present in the outlets up to the end of an event and keeps a follow up during the service and during the rush time 
  • Assists the staff in taking orders and serving whenever needed 
  • Monitors and enforces established procedures for billing 
  • Constantly trains new employees on service methods and standards and helps them to adapt professionally.  
  • Controls the service quality, table layout, guest satisfaction by restaurant service 
  • Controls work procedures to ensure maximum labor productivity. 
  • Ensures the staff fulfills job descriptions, rules of internal labor order, orders, certain tasks. 
  • Daily reports to F&B Assistant or F&B Manager regarding the restaurant work, attends all meetings of the F&B department. 
  • Assists during shifts handover and conducts briefings (instructions) on current issues and possible changes.  
  • Achieves Budget through efficient working and active sales in the restaurant; knows how to attract outside customers, creates promotions, works with food bloggers 
  • Should be aware of competition and their service, new trends in restaurant business, and analyze this information in order to improve service quality. 
  • Communicates with guests, answers all their questions in a professional manner, promoting hotel facilities, when appropriate.  
  • Controls staff appearance, body odor, hygiene and approved uniform, and takes necessary measures for undergoing regular medical examinations by the staff in time. 
  • Carries out any other working instructions as required by F&B or F&B Assistant Manager. 
  • Exercises functions of the duty manager according to the schedule 
  • Knows HACCP principles: implementation and monitoring
