We are looking for an experienced Lawyer who will provide legal support for the company's operational activities.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting agreements, letters, legal opinions, legal articles, minutes, resolutions, internal governance policies, and any other legal documents;
- Taking all the appropriate measures for the improvement of the company's internal regulations and procedures in relation to legislation;
- Conducting regular internal audits of the company's business processes, information systems, and documents to ensure they are compliant with Georgian legislation and international standards;
- Representing the company's interests during inspections;
- Appearing at hearings in court and representing the company in legal matters and complex matters related to the law and ongoing regulatory compliance;
- Drafting lawsuits and any corporate applications;
- Interacting with local and governmental authorities;
- Providing expert and legal advice to the management;
- Explaining the law, giving general legal advice, and advising employees in that regard;
- Maintaining a systematic record of documentation, both in written and digital form;
- Submitting reports in English and Russian.
Would be an advantage:
- General knowledge of the Personal Data Protection law of Georgia;
- Experience with applying GDPR provisions, as well as identifying and evaluating the company's data processing activities.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree or higher in law;
- 5+ years of experience working as a lawyer at a medium-sized company;
- Extensive knowledge of Georgian civil law, labor legislation, and tax legislation;
- English language proficiency at Upper Intermediate level or higher;
- Fluency in Russian and Georgian;
- Attention to detail, self-discipline, and the ability to systematize information;
- The ability to work with large amounts of information, including materials in English.
